The Critical Incident Management Institute is a gathering place – a collective community resource that allows professionals in different disciplines involved in critical incident response to work collaboratively. Following 9/11, the chemical spill in Graniteville, SC, and the recent devastating hurricanes, we recognize the compelling need for a comprehensive resource for training related to critical incident management. CIMI delivers cost-effective, multi- disciplinary training to provide “the greatest good for the greatest number.”
CIMI currently offers approximately 50 courses in three major areas of study: Emergency Healthcare, Public Service, and Incident Response and Remediation.

The purpose of the Critical Incident Management Institute is to provide a comprehensive resource center for preparing both public and private sector organizations to respond to emergencies and disasters.
